Terms of Use
Last updated November 1, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Don’t Just Renew, Inc. (“Don’t Just Renew,” “we,” or “us”) and apply when you use dontjustrenew.com. By using this site or submitting a request, you agree to these terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
Please read this carefully. These terms include a binding arbitration agreement and class action waiver. Unless you opt out, disputes will be resolved individually by an arbitrator, and you give up the right to go to court, have a jury trial, or take part in a class action.
What this service is
Don’t Just Renew is a free referral service that connects employers with independent employee benefits advisors. We are not an insurance company, agency, or broker. We don’t sell, solicit, or negotiate insurance, recommend any plan or carrier, or give insurance, legal, tax, or financial advice. We don’t quote or bind coverage.
Who can use this site
You must be at least 18 and using this site for a business in the United States. If you submit a request for a company, you confirm that you’re authorized to do so.
Advisors are independent
Advisors are separate businesses. They aren’t our employees, agents, or partners, and they’re responsible for their own licensing, advice, and services. Any relationship you start with an advisor is between you and that advisor, and you’re under no obligation to work with anyone we refer.
We review advisors before referring them, but that review isn’t a guarantee of any advisor’s qualifications, availability, advice, or results. Please use your own judgment before relying on an advisor or making any decision about your benefits. We don’t guarantee that a match will be available in your area, or that an advisor will be located near you.
Compensation
Using this site is free for employers. We may receive compensation from advisors in our network. Advisors are generally paid by insurance carrier commissions or by fees you agree to with them, so ask your advisor how they’re paid.
Your submission
You agree that what you submit is accurate and is your own information or information you have the right to provide. Please don’t submit health information or other sensitive information about you or your employees.
If you enter your work email and continue to the next question, we collect it with your earlier answers, even if you don’t finish the form. We may email you about your benefits search, and you can unsubscribe at any time. We don’t send unfinished requests to advisors.
Contact from us and advisors
By submitting the form, you agree to be contacted as described next to the button you click. That includes phone calls, texts, and email from us and the advisor we match you with, including with automated technology. Consent isn’t a condition of buying anything. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time as described in our Privacy Policy.

You agree not to:

Disclaimers
To the fullest extent the law allows, this site and the referral service are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We don’t guarantee savings, any particular result, or that the site will be uninterrupted or free of errors.
Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Don’t Just Renew and its owners, employees, and contractors won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, or for the advice, services, acts, or omissions of any advisor or insurance carrier. Our total liability for any claim related to this site or service won’t exceed $100. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
Indemnity
You agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs from any third-party claim caused by your misuse of the site, your violation of these terms, or information you submit, to the extent the law allows.
Suspending access
We may change, suspend, or stop any part of the site or service at any time, and may block access for anyone who violates these terms. Sections that by their nature should continue, including those on disclaimers, liability, governing law, and arbitration, will continue to apply.
Governing law
The laws of the State of California govern these terms, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The Federal Arbitration Act governs the arbitration agreement below.
Binding arbitration and class action waiver
Try to resolve it informally first
Before starting arbitration or a court case, the party with the dispute must send the other a written description of it and the relief requested. Send yours to privacy@dontjustrenew.com or our mailing address below. Both sides will try in good faith to resolve it for 30 days. Any deadline to bring the claim is paused during that time.
Agreement to arbitrate
You and we agree to resolve any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms, this site, or the referral service through final and binding arbitration, not in court. This includes claims based on contract, tort, statute, or any other legal theory, and claims about contact you received through this site. The arbitrator, not a court, decides any dispute about whether a claim must be arbitrated or how this agreement applies, except as stated under “Class action waiver” below.
Exceptions
- Either side may bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies.
- Either side may ask a court to stop infringement or misuse of intellectual property, or unauthorized access to the site or its systems.
How arbitration works
The American Arbitration Association (AAA) will administer the arbitration under its Commercial Arbitration Rules or, if AAA determines they apply, its Consumer Arbitration Rules. AAA’s rules are available at adr.org. One arbitrator will decide the dispute and can award the same individual relief a court could, but only to the extent needed for the individual claim.
Hearings will be held by video or phone unless the arbitrator decides otherwise. Any in-person hearing will be in the county where you live or your business is located, or in Los Angeles County, California, if you choose. AAA’s rules decide who pays filing and arbitrator fees, and we’ll pay any fees those rules or the law require us to pay. A court with jurisdiction may enter judgment on the arbitrator’s award.
Class action waiver
You and we may bring claims against each other only individually, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, consolidated, or representative action. The arbitrator may not combine more than one party’s claims or preside over any kind of class or representative proceeding, unless you and we agree otherwise in writing.
Only a court can decide whether this waiver is enforceable. If a court finds it unenforceable for a particular claim or type of relief, such as public injunctive relief, that claim or relief will be decided in court after the remaining claims are arbitrated, and the rest of this arbitration agreement will still apply.
Giving up a jury trial
By agreeing to arbitration, you and we each give up the right to sue in court and to have a trial before a judge or jury, except as described in this section.
Your right to opt out
You can opt out of this arbitration agreement and class action waiver within 30 days after you first submit a request through this site. Email privacy@dontjustrenew.com or write to our mailing address below with your name, company, email address, and a clear statement that you’re opting out. Opting out won’t affect anything else in these terms or your use of the service.
Where other claims go
If a claim isn’t subject to arbitration, or you opt out, it must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you and we consent to those courts’ jurisdiction, unless the law gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
If part of this section can’t be enforced
Apart from the class action waiver, which is covered above, if any part of this arbitration agreement can’t be enforced, that part will be removed and the rest will still apply. This section continues to apply after you stop using the site.
General
These terms and our Privacy Policy are the full agreement between you and us about the site. If part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest stays in effect. If we don’t enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later. You can’t transfer your rights under these terms without our permission, but we may transfer ours as part of a merger or sale of our business.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page and changing the date at the top. Using the site after an update means you accept the new terms. Changes to the arbitration section won’t apply to any dispute that arose before the change, or that we already knew about.
